Catamount Athletics Schedule Changes for Saturday, February 18

Feb. 18, 2006

Cullowhee, N.C. - As of 9:40 am on Saturday morning, only one weather-related change to the scheduled weekend of activities in Catamount Athletics has been passed along.

The Western Carolina women's tennis team was originally scheduled to travel to Macon, Ga., to face the Mercer Bears, but that match has been postponed, according to head coach Jan Stubbs. The tennis team will try and reschedule the match at a later date, but no word as of when that will take place.

The home men's basketball game versus Elon and the women's road game at Furman are still on for Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening. Both games can be heard live on WWCU-FM, Power 90dot5 in Cullowhee (www.WWCUFM.com) with the women's game also carried on 1350 AM WZGM, www.supertalk1350.com, and the men's game also on 680 AM WRGC and www.WRGC.com

For Sunday's activities, including home baseball and the first-ever home Catamount softball game, no word nor decision have been made. Everything is scheduled to proceed as originally scheduled. Again, check back with www.CatamountSports.com for more information.
