Cullowhee, N.C. - The Western Carolina University Dance Team will hold a clinic this Saturday, Feb. 11 from 9:00 am until Noon at the Campus Recreation Center. There will also be a photo and autograph session with the WCU Dance Team at 11:45 am with family invited for pictures at that time.
The WCU Dance Team clinic will include dance instruction for all participants including technical skills work, style routines, pom/collegiate style technique -- and lots of fun!
All participants must sign a waiver in order to participate in the clinic with those under the age of 18 requiring a parent or guardian signature. The cost of the clinic is just $30. For more information, please contact Jessica Graning at email@example.com.
On Saturday, the Catamount men's basketball team hosts in-state conference foe, UNCG, at the Ramsey Center beginning at 2:00 pm. Those who pre-register for the clinic will receive a free ticket to the basketball game with family/friends invited to purchase online at CatamountSports.com or call 800-34-GOWCU.
Saturday's game is presented by Ingles and has been designated the "Hoops Against Hunger" game to benefit Eblen Charities and food banks across Western North Carolina. Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the game, making their donation at the main entrance of the Ramsey Center which is the southwest concourse. Gates open at 1 pm. The program provides food for needy children in western North Carolina. Any fan who brings a food item will receive a WCU/Ingles cell phone wallet and a WCU/Ingles koozie while supplies last.
