As the Catamount Club transitions into the new donation levels for the 2015-16 membership year, we will be providing an optional grace period to those active members who renew their membership by June 30th, 2015 to renew at the previous 2014-15 donation levels. We do ask for your consideration in renewing at the new 2015-16 donation levels and help us further our availability to meet the scholarship challenges we are faced with immediately.

All contributions to the Catamount Club are made payable to the Western Carolina University Foundation. The Western Carolina University Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation that has qualified as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. The WCU Foundation's goal is to aid the university in its development as a leading educational institution.
However, a contribution to the Catamount Club which entitles the donor to priority assignment of football or basketball tickets and parking is 80 percent deductible for income tax purposes according to Internal Code, Section 170(m). The Catamount Club urges you to consult with your tax advisor to determine the tax deduction for your gift.
