CULLOWHEE, N.C. - With just 21 days remaining until its first regular season match, the Western Carolina volleyball program opened up its 2015 preseason camp Friday morning. All 15 student-athletes arrived on campus ready for the start of an exciting 2015 campaign.

The day began with the annual team photo shoot at 9:15 a.m. The student-athletes took their headshots and then gathered in the Ramsey Center for some team pictures. Following the photo shoot the team made its way to the auxiliary gym for the first of two practices scheduled for the day.

The first two practices were focused on technique including passing, serving and blocking.

The team has a total of 24 practices scheduled over the next 20 days leading up to their first match against Georgia State on Aug. 28 at 6:30 p.m. inside the Ramsey Center. The match is part of the 2015 Catamount Volleyball Classic which will feature six matches over two days including three WCU matches.
