Oxford, Miss. - Led by a 3-over par round of 75 carded by senior Mariah Hopkins, Western Carolina trimmed two strokes off its first round score, shooting 308 collectively on Saturday to move into sole possession of 10th-place at the Rebel Intercollegiate being contested at the par-72, 6,323-yard Ole Miss Golf Club.

The final round is scheduled for Sunday (April 3) with a 10:00 am ET / 9:00 am CT shotgun start. Live scoring of the event is available through BirdieFire.com.

Hopkins sits amidst a tie for 22nd overall with a two-day total of 152 (77-75). On Saturday, the Greensboro, N.C., product countered two double-bogies and a pair of bogies with a team-best three birdies for the 3-over par round.

Freshman Maddi Caldwell is tied for 29th overall, a stroke behind Hopkins at 153 (77-76). The rookie had a quiet scorecard, posting three bogies among her first five holes to sit at 3-over par. She settled, though, to post 10-consecutive pars before a fourth bogey on the par-5 seventh for the 4-over round.

All told, Caldwell has a team-high 26 pars over the first 36 holes, ranking tied for second in the individual field. The Catamounts have carded 105 pars combined, tied for fifth in the field. WCU has just 13 birdies as a squad.

There was very little change atop the leader board after the second 18 holes on Saturday. First-round leader, Troy, opened up a 20-stroke advantage over second-place, ETSU, 579-to-599. The Trojans carded a second-round score of 6-under par, 282, on Saturday. Harvard (601) remains third, a stroke ahead of fourth-place -- and tournament host -- Ole Miss (602. Murray State, which was tied for fourth after the opening 18 holes, rounds out the top five teams, a stroke back of the Rebels at 603.

Murray State's Moa Folke took a two-stroke lead on the individual leader board, following her 1-under, 71, from Friday with a 4-under par, 68, on Saturday for a two-round total of 139. She has a two-stroke lead over Troy's Gabi Oubre in the runner-up spot at 141.

Paired with golfers from Southern Miss and James Madison, WCU's scoring five will tee-off between the ninth and 11th holes on Sunday morning. Galloway is paired with individuals from Tulsa and Ole Miss, and will begin the final round on hole No. 15.
