Pinehurst, N.C. - Due to the forecast for continued inclement weather in Pinehurst on Monday, the final 18 holes of the Southern Conference Men’s Golf Championship have been postponed until Tuesday. Teams are now slated to tee off of holes 1 and 10 beginning at 7:30 am at the par-72, 7,118-yard Pinehurst No. 9.

Two-time defending champion ETSU shot a 16-over-par 592 over 36 holes Sunday to take a six-stroke lead over Chattanooga and UNCG heading into the final round of play. The Bucs’ Geuntae Kim shot an even-par 144 on the day and carries a one-stroke advantage into the final round.

Western Carolina sits in fourth-place, 13 strokes off the pace with three golfers inside the individual top 20 overall. Junior Bright Julamool shot 6-over par, 150 (76-74), on Sunday to sit in a tie for ninth-place to lead the Catamounts, while Mark David Johnson is tied for 14th at 151 (76-75) and Dylan MacQueen advancing eight spots into a tie for 17th at 152 (79-73).
