CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Western Carolina makes the trip to Southern Conference leader Wofford on Saturday as the Catamounts and Terriers square off at 7 p.m. from Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+ (subscription required) with Jim Noble and Thom Henson on the broadcast. The Catamount Sports Network will provide coverage with Gary Ayers on the call and Daniel Hooker providing color commentary. Saturday’s game can be heard on WWCU-FM, Power 90dot5 in Cullowhee, 105.7-FM/540-AM WRGC in Sylva as well as online at www.catamountsports.com. Live stats will also be available.
Western Carolina is 6-19 overall and 3-9 in the Southern Conference following a 64-45 home loss to Furman on Thursday. Marcus Thomas led the Catamounts with 16 points and a career-high two blocks. Kameron Gibson finished in double figures for the seventh straight game with 10 points. Carlos Dotson pulled down a game-high 14 rebounds.
Wofford is 20-4 and perfect on 11 league games after defeating ETSU 78-76 in overtime in Johnson City, Tenn. on Thursday. Fletcher Magee scored a game-high 32 points with Cameron Jackson adding 20 points and Storm Murphy with 12 points.
The Terriers lead the all-time series 29-28 thanks to a 74-54 win in Cullowhee on Dec. 29.
Western Carolina returns to the Ramsey Center on Thursday, hosting Mercer at 7 p.m.
