CULLOWHEE, N.C. – Western Carolina wraps up a Southern Conference road trip on Saturday afternoon as the Catamounts travel to The Citadel and McAllister Field House for a 1 p.m. tip-off.

Saturday’s game can be seen on ESPN3 as well as on WYCW-62 in the Asheville/Greenville/Spartanburg television market with Pete Yanity and Dean Keener calling the action. The Catamount Sports Network will provide coverage with Daniel Hooker and Greg McLamb on the call. Saturday’s game can be heard on WWCU-FM, Power 90dot5 in Cullowhee, 105.7-FM/540-AM WRCG in Sylva as well as online at Live stats will also be available.

Western Carolina is 4-14 overall and 1-4 in the Southern Conference following an 84-80 setback at Mercer on Thursday. Five Catamounts finished in double figures, led by Carlos Dotson, Marc Gosselin, Matt Halvorsen and Marcus Thomas with 14 points each. Onno Steger added 10 points. Dotson and Gosselin both had nine rebounds while Halvorsen dished out a career-high seven assists.

The Citadel is 9-6 overall and 1-3 in league play following a 98-73 loss to ETSU on Thursday. Lew Stallworth led the Bulldogs with 18 points, followed by Kaiden Rice with 17 and Zane Najdawi with 11. Stallworth is the team’s leading scorer with an average of 18.0 points per game. The Bulldogs lead the nation with 95.2 points per game but allow 87.7 points per game, second-highest in the country.

The Catamounts lead the all-time series 39-36 after claiming both games of the season series in 2017-18. Western Carolina claimed an 81-79 victory in Charleston in the SoCon opener and wrapped up the regular season with a 92-75 victory on Senior Day. WCU has won 13 of the last 15 games in the series.

WCU returns to the Ramsey Center on Thursday, hosting UNCG at 7:30 p.m. in the second game of a doubleheader with the women’s team.
