Cullowhee, N.C. - As Catamount football continued its preseason fall camp on Tuesday morning – and as the 2018 home-opener against Newberry rapidly approaches – CatamountSports.com continues its series of question and answer sessions with Western Carolina senior football players to allow fans to further “Get to Know” the Purple & Gold.
WCU football held its second practice in helmets and shoulder pads on Tuesday morning leading to the first fully-padded practice on Wednesday, Aug. 8. The week continues with team photo day on Thursday afternoon with a special Facebook LIVE event with head coach Mark Speir slated for Thursday evening beginning at 6:30 pm. The squad will hold its first preseason scrimmage this Saturday, Aug. 11.
Both season and single-game tickets for all five home dates in 2018 are on-sale now through the WCU Athletics Ticket Office located on the first floor of the Ramsey Center or by phone at (800)34-GOWCU or (828) 227-2401. Fans can also purchase tickets online by visiting CatamountSports.com.

White: The support from our students means a lot due to us being able to showcase our hard work as well as defend the mountains from intruders.

White: Beating Samford at home while both were among the rankings.
