Cullowhee, N.C. – Officials at Gardner-Webb and Western Carolina have agreed to move Saturday’s scheduled football game between the Catamounts (1-0) and Runnin’ Bulldogs (1-1) to Friday, Sept. 14 with a 6:00 pm kickoff at Ernest W. Spangler Stadium due to impending threat associated with Hurricane Florence.
Friday's game will be broadcast on the Catamount Sports Network (CSN) with live streaming audio available online at CatamountSports.com. With WCU's game encroaching on the typical high school football territory, fans across Western North Carolina can also hear Friday night's game on 94.1 FM / 1590 AM WBHN out of Bryson City/Cherokee, the sister station to CSN affiliate 105.7 / 540 AM WRGC of Sylva.
