2019 (Redshirt Junior): Made 10 appearances on the year including four starts with six in relief … Finished the season with a 2-2 record with a 6.41 ERA over 26.2 innings of work … Recorded nine strikeouts against 10 walks … Issued 10 walks with four HBPs … Scored his first win of the season in a relief effort against Indiana State (Feb. 27), working two, two-hit, scoreless innings … Tossed a career-long 7.0 innings in a starting role in a win against Gardner-Webb (April 10) played in Shelby, striking out a season-high three … Scattered 11 hits in a start at mountain-rival Appalachian State (April 30), tossing 5.1 innings against the Mountaineers ... 2018 (Redshirt Sophomore): Made 21 appearances on the season including 18 out of the bullpen with three starts, tossing 43.0 innings … Pitched at least two innings in 12 of his 21 appearances … Finished the season with a 0-4 record and a 6.28 ERA … Struck out 34 batters against 26 walks … Surrendered 54 hits with just 14 going for extra bases – 10 doubles and four home runs … Made his WCU debut in relief in the season-opening weekend series at East Carolina (Feb. 17) … Started three-straight games including his first start in the win over eventual OVC champion, Morehead State (Feb. 20) … Struck out a career-high five against Ball State (March 10) … Tossed a career-long 5.0 innings against Kent State (March 17) … Had a shortened appearance at nationally-ranked North Carolina (April 25) due to an apparent injury and was used sparingly over the remainder of the season … Named to the 2017-18 Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

Prior to Western Carolina: Redshirted as a freshman at Florence Darlington Tech ... Made nine appearances as a sophomore, tossing 12.2 innings pitched on a squad that won 42 games and advanced to the junior college world series ... Finished with a 1-1 record with a save, tallying eight strikeouts; High School: Was a part of consecutive district titles, leading PNHS to the state finals in 2015 falling in the championship game ... Also played basketball as a prep where he was a four-year varsity letter winner, also playing three years of varsity football.
