2017 (Freshman): Played in 33 games with 19 games among the starting rotation including 17 starts at catcher and two as the designated hitter ... Batted .218 with 19 hits including four for extra bases in 87 trips ... Had a pair of three-game hitting streaks while reaching base in seven-straight ... Recorded five, two-hit games with five multi-RBI games on the season, recording 17 RBI ... Caught four would-be base stealers from behind the plate, adding 17 assists ... Tallied his first collegiate base hit by legging out a double, diving into second base to avoid the tag in a run-down after slipping rounding first base in the season-opener against St. John's (Feb. 17) in tournament play in Myrtle Beach, S.C. ... His first multi-hit game came in the Keith LeClair Classic against Appalachian State (March 4); Summer League: Played with the Waynesboro (Va.)
