2017 (Freshman): Did not see game action, taking a redshirt ... Named to the 2017-18 Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll ... Converted to wide receiver during the 2018 spring.

Prior to Western Carolina: Was a four-year starter at quarterback at Pineville High, guiding the Mountain Lions to a pair of winning seasons and a pair of second-round playoff appearances ... Completed 390 career passes for 6,331 yards and 66 career touchdowns ... Completed 50-percent or more of his passes and threw for more than 1,000 yards in each of his four years including completing a career-high 128 passes for a career-best 2,018 yards with 18 touchdowns as a senior ... Added a team-best 1,059 yards rushing in his final season as a prep ... As a junior, threw for 1,865 yards on 104 completions with a career-high 25 TDs while also rushing for 765 yards and 12 TDs ... Completed 81 passes for 1,242 yards and 10 TD as a freshman with 77 completions for 1,206 yards and 13 TDs as a sophomore.

Personal: His father, Tuck Woolum, was a quarterback at Eastern Kentucky where he played in four-consecutive NCAA Division I-AA national championship games – winning two – and was a 2010 inductee into the EKU Hall of Fame ... Tuck later coached at Western Carolina, 1991-93 ... His Grandfather Jerry Woolum was the QB at Kentucky from 1960 to 1962.
